Boots: VOON Goes West (Saturday, May 2nd)

Dust off your boots. VOON is heading west — well, further west.

Join us at The Academy SF on Saturday, May 2nd for BOOTS: VOON Goes West — a chic, Western-inspired evening celebrating the wild, sun-drenched terroir of California’s Central Coast. Think: cowboy hats, bolo ties, incredible wines, and a DJ who has absolutely never played a country song.

VOON is a boundary-pushing, LGBTQ+-owned wine label born in San Francisco and rooted in the organic vineyards of the Sta. Rita Hills. Our wines are small-production, low-intervention, and unapologetically expressive — just like the people who love them.

The star of the evening is our newest release: the Malvasia Bianca ‘Otto’ — an orange wine from Happy Canyon AVA, crafted with 8 days of skin contact, and unlike anything you’ve tried before. Come taste it first.

Western-chic dress encouraged. Wine by the glass all night. The Academy’s dazzling Castro space, indoors and out.
