Our Values

VOON co-founders and husbands Cameron and Evan
  • We started VOON as a vehicle to discover the world through wine. We are guided by an insatiable curiosity for places, grapes, and methods that sit just outside the spotlight. Whether we’re showcasing the brilliance of the Sta Rita Hills or Happy Canyon AVAs, introducing wine drinkers to incredible varietals like Grüner Veltliner or Malvasia Bianca, or just teaching you something fun - we promise to be a vehicle of discovery as you explore the world of wine.

  • Our commitment to sustainability begins in the vineyard, where thoughtful farming, soil health, and biodiversity are treated as essential to quality rather than marketing afterthoughts. We only partner with growers who work in harmony with their land and farm with organic, sustainable, and regenerative practices.

In the cellar, we practice restraint. Low-intervention winemaking, gentle handling, and a light touch allow the character of the varietal and the place to shine without unnecessary manipulation. We favor methods that reduce waste, conserve water and energy, and prioritize materials that tread lightly on the environment.

For us, sustainability is not a slogan. It is integral to our brand and our promise to you.

  • We favor balance, vibrancy, and nuance. Our wines are made to be lifted by acidity, shaped by restraint, and remembered for their poise rather than their power.

We do this through making wines from cool climates, harvesting our grapes at exactly the right moment, and using a deft touch in the winery.

  • From the vineyard rows to the bottle on your table, we believe wine is both craft and art. Each label, each blend, and each release reflects a deliberate aesthetic and a point of view.

  • VOON is proudly inclusive. We believe wine brings people together, and we celebrate diversity of people, perspectives, and palates in everything we do.

We are LGBTQ+ owned, work with an all women design studio for our labels, and a proudly diverse winemaking team. Every year, we donate a percentage of our revenues to charitable causes, including the Trevor Project in 2024 and the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) in 2025.

  • We produce in small quantities not for scarcity, but for care. Attention to detail and uncompromising quality define every vintage we release. Our wines are produced with huge attention to detail, which is only possible when producing the small quantities we make by hand for you to enjoy.
